I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project with Tattoo. They gave me the time and freedom to write and design this entire campaign. The feeling I always get when I arrive at the fair is all the memories of being a kid and sheer joy the fairs food, lights, rides and shows created. I wanted to capture this feeling through a design that was type dominant and in a color scheme that was inspired by the NorthCarolina State flag. The retro Fair typefaces bright lights and fun writing made this the perfect campaign. I love the fair and I love this campaign almost as much.
