Miami City Ballet

While freelancing for Turbulence Advertising and working alongside Tom Moleta, I developed a visual approach designed to capture the power, beauty, and emotional intensity of the Miami City Ballet’s season.

Each performance was expressed through a single, striking image. Romeo and Juliet—the timeless story of forbidden love—was represented through movement and passion frozen in motion. Promethean Fire, inspired by the events of September 11th, used layered imagery to convey shock, loss, and the force of intentional destruction.

Together, the work celebrated 25 years of Miami City Ballet—translating performance into imagery that was bold, emotional, and impossible to ignore.

Miami City Ballet 24th Season

Turbulence Advertising established the SUPER HUMAN campaign for Miami City Ballet, and during Season 24 I extended that positioning into a graphic-novel, superhero-inspired visual system.

Using only photography of actual MCB dancers, the work delivered a bold, high-impact look—an intentional and smart approach during challenging economic times. Each performance was treated like the cover of an adult graphic novel, with strong color, retro typography, and stylized composition.

The system unified the season under a single visual language while allowing each ballet to express its own story and energy.
